Apart from the small town of Rab is situated 7 other idyllic villages located in different parts of the island; Barbat, Palit, Kampor, Mundanije, Supetarska Draga and Lopar. The island of Rab has approximately 10,000 inhabitants who are mostly engaged in agriculture, fishing and tourism.
Lopar or sand paradise, as it is also called hosts, the farthest settlement on the island of Rab town is also the only place that is special municipalities.
